Pros
It runs cool, the cpu hovers around 50°c while playing games. Everything is good but it needs more frontal usb sockets.

Excellent pc and extremely fastperfect for daily use and light gaming
I purchased a mini computer for my hauptwerk organ software so needed good quality sound.
The internal aerials for the wifi and bluetooth are badly designed and ruin a good wifi6 module.
After plugging it all in it was initially working - for three or 4 days.
Packaging/appearance
Also can handle quite a few games, i can imagine even packing this to go on holiday with as a portable desktop pc.
Minis forum packaged it all and did a good job.
Competitiveness
I have been checking out a few mini pcs from a variety of brands and this one is by far superior.
If its still on sale and you need a new pc, nothing, and i mean nothing on the market right now compares.
This is present on the um690 and um590 which i have set up for other users.
I’ve now purchased another brand of mini pc which so far is fine on headphone jack.

It does have one problem the audio output is very noisy

This is present whether the hdmi or headphone socket is used or using an external da converter and appears to be related to radiated noise from the processor

Fan noise however is nonexistant especially when used flat on the desk rather than in the stand supplied

Contrary to some comments i find windows 11 to be at least as stable as windows 10 and the updates that have come through in recent months now make it the os of choice

Someone had commented the um690 didnt work with virtualization so they sent it back

No bloatware windows 11 pro has some great features if you enable them
