Pros
Unexpectedly came with windows 11 pro. I use my computer for heavy duty debugging and actual work. I wished it came with a 1tb drive instead of a 512gb drive. It has 512 gb space and 8 gb ram.
The fan is as quiet as advertised and there are plenty of ports available. It is silent and i have not seen or felt any indication of thermal throttling.
Two ethernet ports, usb c port, headphone jack and onboard microphone. Comes with short hdmi and displayport cables which is always nice to have. Works fine mounted to the back of an hdmi monitor.
The processor is for high end laptops. Unlike most domestic branded products, the bios isn't locked down to hide all the useful settings (the defaults are fine!
Um340 mini pc is an excellent option to have in your living room to power your basic media needs. Great for media, backup, and also light gaming. Good option for anyone wanting a solid mid-range machine.

I'm very pleased with the ryzen performance.
I'm am extremely happy with this mini pc.
The specifications are incorrect with the os.
Maxing out the ram would help there, but there are hard limits with the lack of video card.
Price
The amd ryzen is fine for my office work and light photo editing.
I also have an miniforum i3-1005g1 that is about 15% slower but costs nearly 200 dollars less.
Shipping
Several of the boxes corners were rounded, so it definitely saw some action during shipping.
It comes with a pretty fast 240gb ssd installed, but has a full-sized 2.
Packaging/appearance
Despite the lack of packaging, i’ve had it for less than a day, has booted up and otherwise appears to be working just fine.
Swapped out the nvme ssd for a larger one, which takes two minutes and is only a matter of removing the 4 screws on the bottom.
Competitiveness
This unit replaces a competitor i purchased merely two years ago.
It performs well and with a 2020 ryzen 5 3450u chipset, i expect this to last between 3 to 5 years before it bogs down.
I installed a 2tb sata and i am using this machine as a nas drive and test machine.
Mine came with a 500gb storage with windows 11 but i just took it out and put in a 1tb instead and installed batocera from a usb stick.

Amazon delivered it in a thin plastic nonprotective mailer so the unit was only protected by its oem box and internal foam

If you need to constantly run the latest games at max settings then this isnt the setup for that
