It works great, especially on pine gives a really, really nice stain pattern

It holds up without even using a top coat.
The directions say to wait 2 minutes after application and then wipe off.

This stain was a little more expensive but considering the time it saved me not having to sand first, i think it was well worth it.

Initially wanted to use wood stain on my laminate floor but failed miserably since laminate flooring does not absorb like regular wood had to use gelstain
