Pros & Cons
Pros
Minwax stain emits a lovely gray hue. Because of the lovely hues it emits, i'm sure i'll put this on wood by itself in the future. Currently waiting on my grout to “german schmear” the rest of the fireplace.
Cons
Minwax is untrustworthy, irresponsible and un-responsive to their customers. Liked the price, but will not be ordering again. This item is not returnable according to amazon regulations so make sure 8oz is all you want.
Stain is terrible… has a pink tint. Should be a white pickled oak stain. Lends a whitewash look to the natural wood.

Highlights
Quality
Easy to use and a great color.
Great product that gives you the professional finish,.
I cleaned the surface of my front doors before i used a rag to put the stain on and it went on very easily.
Minwax stains have been around forever for a good reason.
Price
Just the right size and a decent price.
It is a good value for a quart which will cover a lot of wood pieces, unlike a pint.
Packaging/appearance
I had a wood trash container in my kitchen so i used it on that also and it looked great after as well.
Came out nice used on woodwork in a staircase.
