I wanted a good quality mechanical board but the store was basically out of almost all of them except the ridiculous looking ones with led screens and this almost macesque minimalist looking one with a green glow

I spent about 50 bucks more than i wanted but i have no doubt i will be using this thing for a very long time plenty long enough to forget or care how much i paid for it

I wanted a mechanical board because all i saw on review sitesforums were things like i cant stand typing on laptops or membrane boards and i had no idea what those people meant until i actually got used to the black cherry keys

The cherry black mx switches are linear only switches force increases slightly as the key is depressed and there is no tactile bump feedback when actuated or any audible click sound as each key is actuated

This force requirement minimizes the accidental activation of keys when typing rapidly and inadvertently depressing a key adjacent to the desired keys

Mine however came with 1 faulty led that flickers and goes out sporadically

The annoyance here is that your lighting setting onoff brightness level resets every time your pc reboots

The backlighting at its highest brightness setting isnt very bright
