Ultimately, you can't really go wrong with any of the play monster products, always very well made & of nice quality.
They clasp back together with an internal magnet and also to each other to create a train or tower of the 3 balls.

Price
Playmonster provided this product to me at no cost, but this review is my honest opinion.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is appealing & very easy to open.
The balls are packaged nice and the colors are for both boy or girl.
