Pros & Cons
Pros
Had this book in my wish list for the longest time. This book is an example of amazing writing skill combined with superb storytelling. It still isn’t a book for young children, but teens and adults would love it.
Vin is a fmc that you'll thoroughly enjoy reading about because of how different she is. Vin, in particular, undergoes a remarkable transformation from a guarded outsider to a powerful and empowered ally.
Brandon sanderson's characters are a diverse and unforgettable bunch. What sets sanderson apart is his masterful handling of plot twists.
Mistborn the final empire is a great gateway * to the cosmere.
Cons
Mistborn reads like a bad classic fantasy. The narrator's purposeful vocal fry (crackle) is beyond unbearable. I wish they'd stop using narrators that do this.

Price
It was worth the money by a long shot.
But the cheap paperback sucks pages are falling out of it left and right.
Competitiveness
To me, this story is second only to the stormlight archive so far amongst sanderson’s books.
I don't know if this is common with mass market publications, but i would hope qc was still decent!
