It's a little difficult to assemble as it comes with no instructions and you have to place the velcro just right. It is easy to assemble and sturdy enough for a small cat.

It gets wet, but it doesn't seem to mold - which is great. I purchased for indoor use and purchased heated cat pad to use inside, my house is drafty.
