They are a made of a thicker, quality material and they are lined; not see-through at all.
The quality feels better than most clothes i have gotten from amazon but i haven’t tested them in the water or wash yet.

Only thing i didn’t like is the white interior of the shorts when they roll up on you leg you can see a bright white line against eh hot pink and it makes it look a bit “cheap” and is distracting

They do roll up slightly at the edges so you can do tines see part of the liner after a bit of intensity
