Has a bit of a scent but not overwhelming and has since diminished

I can adjust the armrests at different angles but the back has only three positions flat layback low which is too low for watching tv and the almost straight position which is the normal sitting position

The futon is soft but also thin the sofa is suitable for a college room but not for grownups because the futon is thin

The assembly is super easy only attach the legs which is selfexplanatory but you cannot follow the directions because they do not match what needs to be done
