Pros

The stand is sturdier than i'd expected for the price. It is very sturdy due to the quality of the metal. My only concern is that the vertical tube is a two piece design with a threaded coupling.

Because of medical reasons, it's used in front of a recliner. Easily moves from room to room. I have full carpeting in my home so maneuverability is always awkward.

The shelf on the stand is nice for a laptop. Bought the piece as a sub to mounting my tv on my wall.

Cons

There is just one tiny little hex screw that is supposed to control how high up or down it sits on the pole, and that tiny screw fails miserably. My 55 (under 50lb) tv slides down no matter how tight you tighten the set screw.
