Pros & Cons
Pros
Smooth sharpening, no breaks. Makes a sharp point. Easily sharpens to a point. Does a fantastic point without flexing and breaking the graphite. Large enough to sharpen my conte pastel pencils!
The sharpener is pure brass and is hefty but also allows for great control. Overall, this is one of the best purchases i've made under $10 and have been instrumental in making me love writing in pencil again.
Well made. Solid build. Proven design. Great little product. Still worth it though.
The blades are replaceable and easy to change. The one downside is that you really have to be careful not to put your fingers on the blades.
Cons
It's a beautiful sharpener, but the metallic smell is very unpleasant. It's messy and pointless.
Highlights
Quality
I love having replacement blades which adds value coupled with the lifetime build of this produce.
Not sure if it was an issue with the screw, how tight the screw was, the screwdriver i used, or some other issue.
My prismacolors consistently broke when i sharpened with the plastic sharpeners but not with this heavier metal sharpener.
I didn't even realize there could be such a huge different in quality in such a simple little gadget.
Price
This was a great one for the price.

Watch your fingers though since it is small so those of us with bigger hands or fingers have to be careful since the blades are exposed and theres not a ton of grip to the surface
