For value and crayons, this hand held device is solid.

For my color pencils and regular pencils i prefer my electric sharpener, which is sharp, easy and smooth and cost almost $30.

Well worth the money in my opinion.

At first this sharpener worked great as it should beeing more expensive.

The blades are great quality and do a fantastic job of sharpening, way better than the dime store ones i can find locally!

Unlike any other sharpener i've owned, this one never breaks the lead in the pencils, even the cheaper brands.
