The lid cleverly opens perpendicular to the airpod so it can be attached to the case. Case is flexible and latch is difficult to open accidentally.

They were usually good the first few days but then lost their sturdiness and kept on popping open all the time

I used metal putty to cover the bottom charging port since i only use a wireless charger which does help keep debris out but the seal on the lid isn’t tight enough also the lid will sometimes open on its own from time to time

Just make sure you realize this is only for airpods pro 1st gen although it would fit the 2nd gen you will not have the speaker ventsports at the bottom

The extra case is nice but for me pointless because i don’t need a case to hold a case
