Pros

Easy to install and saved lots of money. I wish moen provided better access to individual spare parts. Remember to sand your copper pipe with a strip of fine sandpaper.

Cons

The gasket fit but not the actual plastic diverter piece. Also the lift handle is not included in the kit. The photo shows the misalignment when you look down the spout from the backside.

So i was able to repair the diverter for the shower at a great deal less than what a plumber would have charged.

The cost difference was substantial so i figured for $7 i might as well try the repair kit first.

It works, and at a fraction of the cost of oem pricing.

Packaging/appearance

The cup seal and diverter gate came in moen packaging and was an exact duplicate of the original parts.

Only took me about 3 minutes from open package to functioning shower diverter.

Competitiveness

For the ease of instllation i guess it was worth the extra i paid compared to generic brand.

I don’t know how well the other brands would work.
