Pros

All copper pipe. The difference in temp control is night and day! Now my shower stays exactly at the temp i set it to. The valve works nicely.

Always had to replace packings and other parts. Installation ease depends on the situation. Easy to install using pecs and sharkbites. Instructions are good enough.

Cons

This positemp valve is absolutely a nightmare for my family. The cartridge is plastic. That is why i could not get the cartridge out.

Not a happy camper. No warranty assistance at all. Don't even bother trying to do it. Moen should be liable for the labor cost if they are truly aware of this existing issue.

This valve is far superior to the 90’s moen valve i had in my shower.

I highly recommend it and the moen brand to everyone.

Do not use any other copycat brand valves with moen, will not fit

I've had nothing but problems with delta and other cheap valves.
