Pros

The moen fit into the mounting assembly for the insinkerator so there was very little prep to do. The 3/4 hp unit seems to work well. It is relatively lightweight, which makes installation easier.

Even the plumber was impressed with it. Comes with a plug to fill the tub with water and the rubber drainer pops out easy for easy cleaning. Only product missing in the box is plumbers putty.

Cons

Leaks at the bottom when pulling water from a filled sink. No water outside, just coming out of the motor back where the power cord is connected. Will be returning this and getting an insinkerator.

This thing is not remotely worth buying. It is an obviously planned-obsolescence product. This disposal was advertised with sound reduction.

Was very easy to install, the 3/4 horsepower motor does the job, and is relatively quiet

It was easy to install, works great so far and is much quieter than our old one.

The disposal i replaced with this one was only 1/2hp, and was noticeably louder than this one that has twice the power.

It grinds completely, no residual at all in the disposal, so there’s never smell either!

Price

I got a handyman to install it for $95, so for around $200 i'm set for the next 10 years!

Price was great and it does a terrific job!

(2) when i plugged the moen in, it blew the socket and i had to spend $250 on an electrician to have it repaired.

However, for the price you really can’t beat it.

Shipping

Disposal is great but the one i order cyber monday was cancelled and i had to reorder it and pay more for it.

That is hard to come by these days.

Oem product in a kit box, so it looks like it came with a sink or something at one point.

Competitiveness

I was hoping this would be quiet, like the "other" brand, but it's certainly not quiet by any stretch.

I don't have a clue, never installed any others, our old one was a 20 or so-year-old waste king, that's all i can compare it to.

It is quieter than other units similarly priced.
