Reviews had cautioned that diverter between tub and shower eventually doesnt work well which is why i replaced my old similar faucet with this one

Please be aware if these fail to seal everything looks fine on the shower side but water will be going back into you wall

Installed spout and found it to leak water behind the spout next to the wall

It was indeed a bad oring however there is not a way to replace the oring without destroying the unit
