With the rod wrapped in one of those rubber jarlid looseners and clamped in the vice i tried all three of my hacksaws all have good blades but the 20gauge stainless steel pipe did not want to be cut very tricky to even get the cut started

During installation i had to slice off the plastic flanges with a razor blade in order to slide the second bracket into position

The tension rods are not reliable if you want to make sure it doesnt come crashing on their head

This type of product is getting pretty hard to find these days as the market is flooded with cheap crap that needs to be replaced after a few years

There is only about 18 inch tolerance for any mistakes

You can probably do chinups on this bar if installed into wood studs
