Pros & Cons
Pros
The installation is not difficult. It fits well, is easy to install, and looks good. The best thing about it is, it is an its and oem product.
For a higher water flow, remove the restrictor at the end of the faucet. Our old house connectors are 24 apart. Every other faucets installed in our house (44) yrs.
Construction of this unit is vastly superior to the faucet that it replaced. The included sprayer’s hose is connected undersink with a single snap-in o-ring-sealed plug. The auxiliary sprayer installs using a single large washer and nut from underneat... Read More
Cons
I'm glad that i was able to verify the date it was installed (brand new, of course) because i'd never buy this model again, given that it failed so incredibly fast.
This faucet is suppose to have a spout height of 8 1/2. They're way longer than needed, and they don't fit our plumbing.
Water tasted horrible. Flow rate of this faucet is abysmal. Forget about making coffee or tea with it, it's just plain undrinkable.
Highlights
Quality
Very easy to install very good quality
It’s basic, sturdy, fit the space, easy to install.
I have to replace kitchen faucets at least every six years because of the abysmal water quality where i live (it literally causes holes).
The plumber apparently over-tightened the fittings and they were virtually impossible to remove without damaging the unit.
Price
Great item, lower cost than home depot or lowe's.
The delta is now $180+ and the moen is a bit over $100.
A little pricey, butyou get what you pay for.
If i can get 8 more yrs out of it, it is worth the money
Shipping
I ordered a new delta unit and it was delivered the next day!
Packaging/appearance
It came as a complete package (sans flex connection hoses, with which no replacement faucets come that i know of), and was an easy install.
Replaced the one that was in my apartment with this one and it looks great!
Our old one was similar and all the pcs were complete in box.
Competitiveness
The moen already seems a thousand times better and much better quality than the delta.
This unit is worth the money, though cheaper configurations of other brands are available.
He said it was a better quality faucet than the previous moenfaucet that i bought from a big box store.
I took out an old american standard three hole w/ side sprayer which was the worst part of the replacement.
