Pros

The device automatically detects and notifies you of leaks, and there is no possibility of water damage once this device is installed. It also alerts you to potential freezing conditions where plumbing passes through an unheated crawl space.

It's relatively easy to replace the turbine except when it comes to putting the cap over the turbine. This not only saves on potential repair costs but also spares me the headache of dealing with water damage during the coldest times of the year.

Cons

Very disappointing show by moen here. Low quality and inconsistency makes such type of a product pretty much useless. I only own them because my insurance company made me install them.

Moen flo by moen does not work. The status and wi-fi lights were green, i reset the device and they went blue again. I have strong wi-fi, good clean well water and no one can figure out what is going on.

Moen is only willing to offer a one year warranty. Water is leaking out of the power port. Moen says since it is not under warranty they will not replace.

The app is the most flaky thing i've ever used. The function selections within the app are slow and at times non existent. It is incapable of learning the intricacy of my water system.

After 2 weeks of been installed it alerted us of a leak.

It cost $750 to be installed and absolutely worth it.

Well worth the money so our house would qualify for homeowners insurance in ca.
