Pros

The battery is large (stated as good for 2 yrs. After a year or so, my wifi was upgraded at my house. Got hint from reddit that installing these via the guest network was a way to make them work.

When the puck is wet you get a notification on your cellphone and one via email. The app is good with settings for sending alerts being customizable. Very quickly detects leaks, and sends both an email and text message.

Flo by moen is a compact water leak sensor that can be placed directly on the surface. Installed at our seasonal florida condo in november 2022. I have it installed under my refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine.

Many questions to answer to register but par for course these days. Hopefully my mostly positive impressions last as time goes on. Nice having the peace of mind. That’s my experience.

Cons

Moen's app is terrible on the ipad and iphone, but the flo app is iphone only, so the experience on ipad is awful. The app tells you to turn on the device then use the app to connect to the device wifi, then it says it will take up to a minute to conn... Read More

Not easy to have multiple ppl on yhe notification list. Can't have more than one manager. I hate to see someone else waste their time. No thanks.
