We bought our faucets from menard's many years ago and on one of them the handle came off because this part broke.
Price
No need to buy an expensive new faucet now!
Was not easy to remove other parts to replace but the price was right.
Shipping
Item arrived quickly and was easy to install.
Big box store didn't carry in stock, would have taken at least 5 days to order from there.
I ordered it and in a few days, received the part, and my husband had the faucet fixed in 10 minutes.
It arrived fairly quickly and wasn't too costly.

Like other reviewers have mentioned take care when gently prying the old assembly up and off as youll need to remove the old nylon connector and put it on the new part

Guessing our bath faucet was made in 1998 or 1999 when the house was built

It had been dripping on and off for a year or so but would stop if you were mindful of pushing the handle down

Guessing the metal was softening up and lifting up when the handle was raised and not reseating until you pushed it down thereby bending the metal back into place and shutting the water off

Of course this meant it slowly kept weakening and finally broke off at this part

You will need the little plastic piece from the old part so do not toss it and be careful removing it and attaching it to the new one

Kit would have been better if they included that piece as i can see people breaking it
