The install of the faucet itself is fairly straightforward it was harder to remove the old one

As other reviewers have mentioned if you are working with a sink where the faucet is very close to the wall its likely you wont be able to hook up the drain assembly to the faucet and will have to manually plug the drain if you want to fill the sink

Our 1935 plumbing was corroded and with each phase of the install another piece of the old plumbing this faucet was hooked to failed from the washers to the supply hose to the s drain trap

Also of note although the faucet has a great heft and is of good quality the drain assembly is plastic

That means you arent supposed to use regular plumbers putty to seal up the drain when you put it in as the putty eventually degrades the plastic

We initially used the silicone adhesive that was recommended for this application but because of the strange shape of our old sink we were unable to get a good seal

Note that there was a slight variance in the height of the right handle on the one i received so if you scrutinize the faucet very closely you can see one handle is higher than the other bigger gap between the handled and base

The instructions did not recommend using one and it would have been quite tricky with regular wrenches because the 4 nuts under the faucet are so hard to reach and see
