Pros & Cons
Pros
The stainless steel looks good, installs easily, and adds a good amount of space. It really does make my shower roomier.
This is the second time i've purchased this model of shower rod. Both homes are over 100 years old, with non-standard shower/tubs, so i had to shorten the rod each time by about an inch. Definetely worth the expense over the spring loaded shower rods.... Read More
It fits without any cutting and has the perfect amount of tension to hold securely. It's still a tad high, despite a mere 1/4 clearance between the bracket and the surround.
The single length rod moves smoothly with no annoying hump to drag the shower curtain over. Add the moen beaded shower curtain rings moen sr2201ch shower ring, chrome.
It comes with a full set of moly bolts for installation through drywall or tiles over backer board. You will need to buy screws if you are able to screw into a wooden stud. Installation requires drilling, in my case through tile.
Cons
Great idea, bad quality control. Firstly, the mental is very thin. My guess is that with my first careless guest, this thing's a goner. I hope they don't expect me to pay for anything to get a refund or replacement.

Quality
We would buy this again and in fact, bought a second similar moen rod for our second bathroom because we were so impressed with... Read More
Seen other curved rods but most were expandable with the expansion in the center.
Better yet, they do not include any suitable wood screws with the hardware, so a quest ensued.
I have about a 1/4" gap on either end, but you can only barely see that with the end caps in place.
Competitiveness
Took two people to mount, but it replaced a space-saver shower curtain rod that sagged horribly no matter how much i tightened it down.
Use a smaller than the recommended i/4 drill bit for the wall.

Each mount has at least 3 holes to predrill it came with metal molly anchors but there’s no way they would have fit through the predrilled hole because of an odd part of it that sticks out and couldn’t push it through the tile so had to get different anchors 2

Go slow with a cement bit and youll get through in about 10 minutes for each hole i made 3 on each side
