Easy to install, very sturdy, and much more room in the shower. Used stainless screws when securing to tile walls.
Cons
The hardware included with this rod is faulty and the instructions/template is terrible. You can't get your screwdriver in between the convex curve of the rod and the wall. Not only is it unattractive, it can prevent easy sliding of your curtain.
The mounting hardware is not quality (plastic rings which are brittle and the mollies are easily broken) the rod is easy to install and looks nice but the big bummer is that it started showing signs of rust in 2 months. This product is painful to inst... Read More

Super sturdy and so easy to install.
The rod is a heavy gauge metal, and very sturdy when installed.
This is not a true extension rod, you will need to attach to the wall.

Price
First one i purchased at a hardware store and cost me more.
For the price paid they should include better mounting hardware.

I was hesitant to order online and i looked for months before deciding to order and was pleasantly surprised!
Packaging/appearance
Brushed nickle color and end caps look great.
The brushed chrome is very pretty and the whole set up matched.
Competitiveness
Had the same model before that had plastic wall mounts(which broke from an incident).

When drilling the holes in drywall use the 18” drill bitt first in case you hit a stud behind the wall

If you don’t hit a stud then go ahead and use the larger drill bit for the wall toggles

Pretty straight forward installation took me about 45 minutes but doubled checked measurements several times before drilling the holes

I did not use the screwsstuds that came as i am in an apartment and plan to take this with me if i have to move

Therefore i opted to use screws that would not damage the wall when removed
