Colour is definitely not chrome. Missed the return window because of the pandemic. Cheap, scratches easily- definitely classic garbage made in china here.

I had to cut about 12 inch from each side in order for it to fit my opening but that was the hardest part of the installation and that was made pretty simple with a pipe cutting tool that i had

I would suggest purchasing one if you need to cut it as a hacksaw will just slip and slide all over and scratch the finish

You do have some forgiveness room with the caps but unless you are careful and use a vice the pipe cutter is the way to go
