Pros

The fitting for the drain is also beautiful and hasn't scratched like i thought it would. It makes the whole sink shine. Everything is new so no performance data can be shared yet.

Moen unit is a little bit quieter and cheaper than the badger 5. The one thing i don't like about this unit is the rubber piece that goes inside the drain (they call it splash guard) but it works just fine and is actually quieter than the old unit.

Cons

No rubber neck to dampen the sound of the 2600 rpm vortex motor to the sink.

The collar that fits in the sink is too small for an adult to fit their hand inside. Couldn't spend the extra $0. That would've reduced your * profit margin too much. Very disappointed with product.

Price is reasonable and the unit seems to be good quality.

This is a good disposer for a really good price.

Competitiveness

It’s also very quiet compared to my older insinkerator disposal.

It's faster spinning and has more torque than in-sink-erator disposers.

If this old lady can do it, then it's not that hard, but then again, i'm a diyer.

I have to admit that this fit on my old insinkerator 3.
