Pros

It’s much more quiet and grinds our scraps. It looks a lot nicer than my 1997 kenmore did and is a little quieter.

Good, but not great. One feature that i really love is the removable drain baffle.

Installation was fairly easy, the unit is not excessively loud. Replaced an insinkerator, being able to reuse the mount made for a very easy to install.

Only complaint is the rubber splash guard is too stiff.

    Turn off this burner needed to use a long screwdriver to knock out the plug from the inside for the dishwasher connection

    You will need some plumbers putty to install the flange and a good philips screwdriver as not the strip the screw heads for the flange

    I was slightly disappointed in that the upper housing is plastic and thats why they use the plastic plug to cap the dishwasher connection
