Pros

Impressed with the compact, lightweight motor and grind assembly. Installation was easy, but i am now too old and handicapped to do it anymore. The lights are battery powered w/4 aa batteries that come with it.

This unit is so much quieter and much more efficient. In comparison to the higher priced in-sink-erator units, these moens are a little louder. This unit seems lighter weight and louder than our original disposal but seems to handle things nicely.

Cons

You're supposed to hold 3 loose components upside down against the sink while holding and opening a ring without over-flexing it, snapping it into place in a groove on the sink *.

The disposal leaked profusely all inside the new kitchen cabinets. Apparently the materials aren't made to sit dormant. After inspection, taking it off, re-doing the putty, affixing it again-still had leaking issues.

Quality replacement for an aging insinkerator disposal.

I had an almost 20 year old insinkerator that started leaking after a small toy got into the sink and jammed the garbage disposal.

The rubber sink guard backs up water flow and you must force food scraps through it with your hand or a spoon.

Price

It was a great price and i was able to install it in the sink using my old flange which saved some time installing.

I saw this one and thought it had everything i needed and was fairly inexpensive.

Great price and works well with one big exception.

This is a moen product and i was very surprised that it was shipped with a defective part.

It was delivered on time and the description matched what arrived.

After doing additional research and reaching out to moen i was even more surprised at this low-price amazon has.

The sound is also very low comparing it to my old one and the other one that i replaced.

Just before making my final choice between the two, i stumbled across this moen brand disposal.
