Pros & Cons
Pros
The gripper texture on the inside of the grab bar keeps me feeling safe and sturdy when stepping up. It is very sturdy when mounted properly to the wall. It's sturdy and easy to grip.
I have two of these, one on each side of my bathtub. Perfect for my 95 year old husband’s bathroom to help with mobility. My tub is very deep, the deck wide and my floor slippery.
Cons
The product is not zinc and stainless steel construction. The handle itself is also very slippery, even when dry, and the rubber grip doesn't provide much grip.
Highlights
Quality
Works great and the white one blends in perfect with the white wall.
You need a few tools, but installation is easy with the included hardware.
He was done with the project in a relatively short time.
Ordered a new handle and will replace screws with higher quality.
Packaging/appearance
I needed to install a grab bar just outside our tub/shower wall to aid in stepping out of the tub.
Competitiveness
This handle has given me so much more independence than waitng for someone's arm to help me up or down the 2 steps!
