Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install. It depends on what surface your installing it to. Use a masonry drill bit to drill through the sheetrock and insulation back to the concrete blocks.
Bar allows you to continue to use the tub and soak away daily aches. Fit perfectly in out shower area our walls are wood so we just had to screw directly into wall with the screws provided. Good bar for a white shower, say.
This grab bar looks fantastic. The rail works great.
Cons
The grab bar is ok, but not great. Trying to figure out how to get the end screw covers off isn't too easy. The cheap * flimsy screws that came in the package starts stripping the head because the filips head isn't very deep.
Highlights
Quality
I am satisfied with the quality, sturdiness and ease of installation.
This made the job easy, and i am very pleased with the result.
I mounted one of the screws on a stud and the others i used screw-in anchors with the related screws.
However, if your current bathroom contains fixtures/hardware with the solid brass look, this is the ticket and you won't be disappointed.
Price
Easy install; well built; price is much lower thn hardware stores

Competitiveness
I think the bar would bend before it would fail no matter what anyone's weight.

You will need to get an anchor set to install this if you are installing horizontally as it is not a length where both sides can hit a studas far as price i feel like they overcharge for the brass version relative to the standard look

I had someone install the grab bars

Installed on diagonal so a bit tricky to tighten screws because grab bar somewhat blocked the screwdriver

But that has to do with the angled installation would have been the case regardless of the brand

Keep in mind this is 24” and typical beams are 16” apart so you may have to choose one end of this bar as a sturdier attachment to a stud and the other end slightly less sturdy attachment to the drywall
