The moen grab bar is 32 inches in length. This means it will be * into two solid wood studs. Two screws at each end is plenty if they're deep into the stud.
This has been installed in our bathtub/shower for our safety. I have this installed by my shower and it really helps me with climbing into the tub. A safety rail in the shower is so convenient and helpful.
