Pros

The installation * has a lot of options for placing screws. The supplied screws are suitable stainless steel. Use stud finder on area above tile to find studs.

The finish is not slippery, like polished chrome ones are. Not slippery either. Solid assistance for balance.

This grab bar is well constructed and quite functional. Pictured here is the 18 and 24 bars. This bar is terrific, very high quality.

Having the right tool for the job is the difference between project completion, and a messy, disaster. It looks great but most importantly, makes me feel safer.

The reasons i only rated them a 4 are that the mounting screws don't have a square drive head so can be stripped, and carefully select the length because dimensions are not o/c.

Cons

Cannot be installed horizontally on 16” framing. Installation video that shows the bar being mounter on a hollow wall is deceptive. Really there should just be an exposed screw or two to hold it on.
