Pros

This moen product was paired with the moen grab bar. One side of the grab bar (36) is in a stud. Maybe we need a standard for grab bar flanges to make it easy for the various mounting product to work with the various grabbar flanges.

Strength is amazing. That’s when these anchors shine. It is as solid as can be. They seem to be well made and sturdy.

Moen also sells a set of 2. A little pricey. The only downside is it doesn't appear to be universal in design.

Use good silicone to seal holes. A helper is nice to have around to slowly squirt water on the drill bit for cooling. Drill correct size hole on thin scrap wood and practice assembly.

Cons

It is visible through the clamshell case! Problem is you have a solid metal * in the way, keeping you from seeing the brass nut.

Just read the clear directions and then get the proper drill/hole saw and avoid paying big bucks to a "handy man.

Cost is higher than i expected at $12 each and i needed two of them.

And yes, its a little pricey, but worth the results.
