This set is very nice looking but the information on this page is incorrect you need a valve that starts with the number 3 not the number 2 as mentioned in the specs

Make sure you check on the moen site for a compatible valve to save you the returns hassle that i had

So if you are replacing a shower kit from say the 1990s you cannot use the face plate they give you with the kit

One thing that surprised me was the tub spout is two pieces

The larger ring is sealed against the tile with plumbers putty and the rest of the spout just pushes against the ring plate
