This is a very pricey but excellent quality faucet set.
The best part is that is can be removed very easily with the moen 4792 base.
Like that moen makes these cosmetic upgrades so you dont have to pay for the complete set with the valve.
Price
Looks excellent and for the price you can’t beat it.
The price though, i purchased the oil rubbed bronze, and that one is never discounted.

It was a real easy install even though moens website says it cannot be done

Moen sent me their roman tub valve compatibility pdf file and it stated that the spout shank must not be less than 1 38

The shank on my mid1990s valve was only 1 18 and the pdf stated no current moen trim kits would work and i would have to replace the valve

Unfortunately to do this i would have had to hire a tile contractor to tear out all the tile work that was done in front of the tub to get access to the valve

When i got it i dry fit it on the shank and the shank extended past the rubber gasket inside the spout so i knew it would work

I ordered the moen stem replacement kit 11 on amazon and replaced the stems so that the handles would fit
