Pros

This is everything i wanted it to be…decadent and useless, but worth every penny of the cost and pain of installing for me. This, with all of the components, is awesome. Really takes your shower project to the next level of luxury.

Changing the temp of the shower is as easy as pushing a button. It keeps temp automatically for you, so no chasing if you are running out of hot water! Also has a water saving mode.

Works with android o and android n. Works with alexa as well. Works great with alexa and manages the water temp extremely well.

Installation is pretty straight forward and and can be carried out by a homeowner if you have basic wiring and plumbing skills. Your plumbing is routed through this box and out to the appropriate zones.

Cons

The bad; i use homekit automation and this is not a smart accessory. It is useless regarding home automation. The programming for phone control is terrible. No me han dado ninguna solución más que comprar uno nuevo.

One refuses to connect to wifi all of a sudden. The only way to fix the problem is to reboot the gateway. It locks up almost daily and requires a 60 second power cycle to clear it.

Price

Total cost for everything needed to complete the project was about $1600 and imho well worth it.

This is very much worth that cost to upgrade.

So i bit the bullet and shell out about $1800.

They are so expensive, that it is worth the cost of a suppressor to protect the unit.

Shipping

8/19/2021: day 6 and still no parts shipped from moen.

I email moen support with a few pictures and proof of purchase - they sent me a new unit the same week.

And, they only offer free ground shipping.
