Pros

The flip top is spring loaded and recloses when released, and contains a rubber-like liner that seals out moisture. The lid helps keep out the humidity so the salt doesn’t clump together. Cute match with blk lid sugar holder & tablecloth.

If you need a covered shaker, these are a great choice. It keeps the salt and pepper sticking inside the shakers. I practice the use of rice in my salt shakers so i can’t accurately say whether they prevent moisture.

Cons

The hinge is spring loaded with no locking open option. Not recommended for damp climates. Also, it's a bit clumsy to hold down the flap to get pepper/ salt out.

Qc messed up here. I am disappointed with the moisture free claim. Big fail.
