I could swap the dell dock for this right now and probably never notice that it isnt thunderbolt or that it doesnt do displayport and frankly at 14 of the price of the dell dock i probably wouldnt care

On top of that ive connected an external soundcard and a keyboard and its running very smoothly while i play music from the sd card slot that leaves the usbc and ethernet ports still unused

Flac files quickly and easily a gigabyte in under 11 seconds so about as claimed while everything else was still working two usb slots isnt that generous id have preferred another instead of the sd card slots if im honest but the usbc slot could be used for further expansion if necessary

The dock does come without a charger which is something to factor into the price if you dont have a powerful usbc charger already but of course you probably do have one that came with your laptop

Note that charging performance will vary by laptop mine needs a bit more than the minimum 65w charger that this dock can use it still works but grumbles a bit and occasionally loses charge its fine with a bit more
