I was looking for a case with deep grooves because i was disappointed in my targus case for an ipad2 which kept slipping out of the shallow grooves whenever the screen was touched

There is a soft lining on the inside of the shell that holds the ipad so the ipads metal back wont be scratched by the shell

We purchased 25 of the red and 25 of the blue

But 3 of the 25 blue ones had some strange manufacturing defect where you see a yellowish brown stain on the cover and those units the thin blue pvc layer started to bubble up and delaminate when we took a scotch tape off the cover after we temporarily numbered them and used the scotch tape to secure a piece of paper
