I think the previous cases performance is at least somewhat relevant to this case in that the lg case stood up to two years under the rigors of testing by my toddler

After two years the stitching finally came apart but the tablet still looked like new inside

For this case ive seen other reviews that suggest that there is a lack of quality control in terms of fit

I havent dropped this tablet yet to speak to the protection but the lg case from the same manufacturer took a beating in the hands of my son and the screen was no worse for wear

Im even able to remove the sd card without taking the tablet out of the case something i had to do with the lg

I feel like if you are not a very surehanded person you probably should look at spending more money on a shockproof case and a good screen protector
