I dont use for cleans or snatches where you're dropping bar from heights, that would probably effect longevity of the product.
Packaging/appearance
To remove and change plates is a hassle because i have to sit there and spin off the the locks on either side every time.
Competitiveness
I just received them and they work perfectly on a 1inch barbell.
I use for deadlifts, squats, curls, etc.

The only reason i put 4 stars and not 5 is that they are all plastic and i could see the locking tabs breaking off eventually from use or if you drop them

The rubber grips inside them are decentlike anything they get worn down with use
