Quality

Very sturdy, flexible with a plenty of height extension

Very sturdily made and leg height adjustment clamps work great.

This nut took me about 45 minutes to get back in place and promptly fell out again during disassembly.

It collapses down to a very small size that makes it properly portable, and as long as you don't bump it, it won't drop what its holding.

Price

All in all a great value for the money.

Good value here, from the top photo device attachments down to the 3 rubber, pivoting feet.

As far as kick stand goes, this is about as cheap as i'm willing to spend to hold up something thats hundred of dollars.

Shipping

I actually took it in my carry-on on a trip shortly after receiving with me.

Packaging/appearance

The packaging is a sturdy cardboard box with nice utilitarian graphics & text on it, so i think this is still good looking enou...  Read More

The one and only issue i have, and as a navy veteran i know how to pack a lot in small spaces, the bag it comes in, after you h...  Read More

There is no mention of the remote or the gopro adapter in the packaged instructions.

Competitiveness

I know all that sounds discouraging but this is truly a better tripod that all the other inexpensive ones i've tried.

It extends higher than the others that i have used and is just as stable.

Its lightweight and comes with a shoulder strap carry bag into which i can stow it

Some of the those weaknesses there are no real instructions just a onepage schematic the legs are a bit flimsy when fully extended the tripod has to be completely disassembled to store it in the provided bag if that bag had been made just 2 inches longer it would be much more practical when the bottom segment of a leg is fully retracted and the foot has been tightened all the way the lowest buckle is blocked and can’t be released —so it is necessary to loosen the foot first on my tripod the quarter inch screws for two of the three feet were not machined well and were difficult to attach properly finally the panhead the handle that you use to aim the camera came in a bag with a loose nut and a washer that was already in position

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I don’t think i need the nut because the panhead is working fine but that certainly is peculiar

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It has two level gauges and it is very lightweight at under 3 pounds

The remote control is fine but you have to remember to turn it off when you are finished using it
