I removed all the amazon app that could be safely removed disabled lockscreen ads installed all the google services required to use google play store installed youtube vanced custom youtube client and then finally a custom android launcher which turns the tablet into a more standard android tabletphone like experience

Only not like to much bend on the cover they do not hold it when i tried the bend the back

As soon as you open the cover the unit turns on automatically without having to press a hard switch button
