Both sides of the cover look classy and are well made. Looks good & seems sturdy. The back is transparent so you can see the kindle color through the back.
Magnetic closure of the case helps preserve battery life by putting the tablet to sleep. It awakens it when reopened.
It looks decent but probably looks even better on a mauve kindle since the back is slightly see-through. Very satisfied with the look and fit.

I have never gotten one with the clear vinyl back and wasn't sure if i would like it as well as the full leatherette covers.
Note that it really is compatible only with the specified model.
Price
And the price is very reasonable, so i'm definitely considering it.

Buttons and connectors move around from model year to model year so the case wont fit a different version

It’s a slim case and so hardly increases the bulk of the similarly skinny tablet
