Pros & Cons
Pros
The overhang in the doorway is good to stow your gear and boots. I recommend setting up with a tarp underneath with the tarp tucked in. It protects the floor of the tent and also adds a floor to the overhang.
Here are some things to help you avoid the newbie mistakes i made. The system works good and easy for one person to setup. Its easy to set up and breakdown.
All the poles and rigidity go into the tents outer shell, while the inner core is a “loose” enclosure attached from the inside by toggles. The top of the tent has mesh for ventilation and a brilliant feature is the little rainfly is permanently attach... Read More
Other than the defect of the tent, it seems to work well. Compact but durable.
The best part and why i chose this tent is the vestibule area. The fine mesh of the rear window and the spacing and design. Inside the tent at the top (apex) is a nice net to hang the fan.
Cons
This tent is not a 4 season tent. Still froze at 11 degrees. The windows are backwards. It is difficult to open the front porch door from the inside, even after i added parachute cords to the zipper. There is one big design flaw which makes itself app... Read More

She was very impressed with the looks, but never got to use it.
I did not hike with the tent but i think it would be a little bulky as complete tent.
Price
This is a budget tent so i feel it is well worth the price.
I suppose this helps keep the cost down.

Dryness: this tent weathered a serious downpour like a champ!

The instructions are extremely minimal so as long as you have ever put a tent together you should be able to get it up

I was incredibly nervous to take this out and put it up by myself

I did have a slight condensation build up but even through a half hour downpour it didnt leak a drop

The instructions were nearly useless the only real piece of information i got from it was that there were 2 long poles and 1 short pole
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Fortunately the poles are colorcoded red for the long ones blue for the short one and the fabric tubes they run through are colorcoded to match
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
There are a lot of tubes to go through four per red pole i think so a lot of opportunity for the metal joints on the poles to snag on the fabric tubes
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I will say that the polesespecially the blue one almost feel a little too long
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The took a good bit of stretching the fabric and bending the poles to get the ends into the grommets
