I used my ipad pro as a test and it charged at the maximum speed i've foud without using adapters and my cables and chargers.

I did not test the data capability because i rarely ever transfer data between a phone and computer

It has a small light to indicate that it has power but the light is not too bright to be distracting in a dark room

Works great for charging and reg data transferi tried this with a camera thing and it doesnt work so not all the features from the usb c will work with the lighting port so just be wary of that

I tried them out on several apple devices and they worked on all of them but one due mostly to the phone case

As apple are now sunsetting the use of the lightning connector for the iphone for the second year running and ipad range for even longer in favour of the more universal usbc port it will leave a collection of cables unusable
