Whats happening is the edge of the cover is inadvertently seating into this gap when its slipped onto the remote preventing the touchpad from depressing clicking

The solution is to ensure the edge of the cover is massaged up and seated over the edge of the touchpad

This allows the touchpad to properly depress allowing the click

I ordered a different shaped case prior to ordering this and had issues with the remote working properly as the edge of the silicone pushed the trackpad down as caused the tv to randomly playpause
