The tools provided are very useful its a little tricky getting the retainer screws out but this is down to bad design by garmin

You need to find someone to hold the watch whilst you unscrew and tighten up the bars that hold the strap in place

In my case it was the strap retaining loop that broke so i now have a spare and two strapes for the price of one as with my wrist size i only need the single loop
